Training
Tom James training is referred to as Career Development. We focus on six keys to personal development: vision, goals, skills, habits, attitude and self-image. The continual development of these areas in a person's life insures the growth of his or her income, character and wealth. Every individual is challenged to decide what he or she wants to have, do, and be in life, and why.

Career Development begins in the local sales office with a day-to-day curriculum followed by Sales Professionals and Leaders. In most cases "team training" is used for "diversity and efficiency". A structured daily schedule through training in prospecting, phone skills, presentation, product knowledge, tracking and measuring, and follow-up make Tom James Career Development unique. The aid and support of comprehensive training manuals, videos, audiotapes and computer support also add to the effectiveness of the Tom James training regimen. After 3-6 months, new Sales Professionals attend Career Development Week. This dynamic week focuses on vision, leadership and profitability. It combines professional speakers, interaction and factory visits to better prepare each Sales Professional for his or her next step - "leadership". This is why our mission statement starts by saying we are in the "people business". We are about people developing people.
